The Challenge
Running a brokerage isn't just busy — it's constant.
-
Renewals need preparing weeks in advance
-
MTAs and day-to-day admin interrupt your flow
-
Emails, follow-ups, and documentation start to stack
And in the background, there’s always that question:
Has everything been done properly?
The Solution
You stay focused on your clients and relationships.
I keep everything moving behind the scenes.
-
Anything requiring judgement flagged — not assumed
-
Renewals tracked and prepared early
-
Admin handled consistently and properly
-
Communication kept clear and up to date — so nothing slips
So you're not constantly checking, chasing, or second-guessing.
All delivered with the structure and attention to detail that insurance work demands — backed by CIP® and CII credentials.
That's where I come in

Minimal onboarding — I work within your existing systems, not around them
Your clients notice when things run smoothly.
They notice when their query gets a same-day response. When their renewal arrives with the right information already gathered. When the person handling their call knows their file.
Most founder-led brokers can't deliver that consistently — not because they don't care, but because there aren't enough hours. An account handler changes that. Your clients get the service they expect. You get the time to grow the practice.
Stay on top of your renewals — without chasing them all day
Stay proactive, never reactive
Your renewal pipeline is the backbone of your brokerage.
I keep it moving — from early prep and information gathering to renewal tracking, client comms and follow-ups — so nothing gets left too late or rushed. Clients hear from you at the right time, with the right information. Nothing feels last-minute from their end.
Handle MTAs and day-to-day admin — without constant interruption
Clarity and care in every client interaction
Mid-term adjustments, insurer queries, document requests — they don’t stop.
I handle the day-to-day flow so you're not pulled away from client files every few minutes — and so the clients making those requests get a prompt, professional response that reflects well on your practice.
Clients stay informed.
Work stays organised.
Nothing slips.
Anything requiring judgement is flagged — not assumed.
Stay compliant without the constant pressure
Support that fits within your processes
Compliance matters — but it shouldn’t sit in the back of your mind all day.
I support documentation, follow-ups, and client communications in line with your processes — so everything is done properly, recorded, and up to date.
No gaps.
No chasing.
No uncertainty about what’s been done.
Insurer Liaison — so you're not living in your inbox
So underwriters hear from someone who speaks their language
I handle quote requests, follow-ups, and status checks with insurers — ensuring you get timely responses while you stay focused on your clients.
Keep your cashflow clear and under control
Trust-based support with your oversight
From invoicing and credit control reminders to checking commission statements, I support the financial admin behind your brokerage — so nothing is missed and everything stays organised.
You stay in control — I handle the detail.
What I do is the work of a commercial account handler — renewals, MTAs, insurer liaison, file documentation, client communications. The difference is no recruitment process, no employment overhead, and no months spent explaining how insurance actually works.
Simple, transparent support - shaped around your setup
Every setup is different - so the conversation comes first
Support is provided on a monthly retainer basis — typically starting from £600 for lighter books, with most engagements running at £900 per month for consistent operational cover.
The right scope depends on your book size, the systems you use, and where the pressure is sitting. A short conversation is usually enough to work that out.
No long-term contract. No hidden costs. If it's not working, we say so.
Dual Professional Credentials
Active CIP® & CII Member
Qualified in Canada. Embedded in the UK industry.
Recognised industry membership & designation — not generic admin support
CII membership is the baseline credential UK brokers look for in an account handler. CIP® is the Canadian
equivalent — earned after four years of industry examinations and hundreds of hours of study. I hold the CIP® designation and am an active CII Member working toward formal UK qualification.
In practice that means you're working with someone who understands FCA compliance expectations, knows how commercial insurance files should be documented, and has worked across insurer and broker sides of the relationship for over a decade.

Leif supported our team with policy issuance, tax calculations, and compliance reviews. He was always helpful and responsive, ensuring policies were compliant and issued on time.
I’m confident Leif will be of enormous assistance to UK commercial brokers.
